There are magic users of all kinds in this AI imaged Dreamland. The energies that flow in this world have special properties which has given magical powers to the majority of the flora and fauna.
These energies, as their called, are a unique form of radiation activated as the settlers arrived. An ancient device reacted to the proximity of the settles ships exploding the ship’s energy supply, combining the energies released a transforming field of radiation that surrounded the world. Exposure to the radiation at any level can bring about the birth of magical abilities. Seers
Seers
The Seers of Dreamland have evolved from living plant and animal hybrids that developed after the settlers were first exposed. After a time, those well practiced in the magical gift of sight often develop blank colourless eyes, no pupil or iris, they use their mind’s eye to see more than their mortal eyes could ever. They serve the community where they can, some pick exciting things others choose safety over adventure. The most adventurous give their services to one of the defensive groups of Knights and Warriors on patrols. During patrol they spend most of their time outside the protection of the domes in the highest levels of radiation and have transformed accordingly. The Seers are able to use the root systems that transverse the land as a giant data network. The root systems are much like the mycelium structures of fungus on our own world. When the Seers travel outside they stay connected with other Seers and Elders at all times, at even the furthest distances. The defenders move together in tight knit groups through the areas surrounding settlement domes. Seers must move with the group and use their powers to communicate, provide healing and as guides, using their gift of prophecy to lead the group on the safest path.
Magic, grows in uniquely delicate ways in each user, as organic things do. Some users have only the inklings of magical awareness while others appear to command the elements of nature, see The Makers. As the magic user develops their skills, they follow their strengths, building on success as they go. Using the Adobe AI feature to create these images has been rewarding. You direct the image generation but; generating new images with the same settings renders different results each time. Some of the images are exciting, but others can be just awful or silly. You never know what you will get next. This group of renders are examples of the better results.
