Qualicum Bay on Vancouver Island is a beautiful area, we stayed in a really nice rental property. Being on the east side of the island it gets the morning sun and this place just lights up inside. The house faces east and gets the sun rise over the mountains and across the ocean. There was a good reason that side was all windows the views are magnificent. The Strait of Georgia runs between this shore and the mainland, boats sail past adding to the amazing panorama. The busy public beach has lots of sand, people, and wildlife to watch. In the house there were even a couple of custom sculptures the owner had commissioned that added a giggle.
